No matter the subject, no matter your role in it, no matter the difficulties you endure creatively or constructively while making them.

The first step in any form of visual artistry is to understand your aesthetic. And to protect it like it is the end of the world. I found mine years ago when I was growing up in Bangalore city on a healthy diet of World Cinema and Wildlife Conservation. And even today I nurse it at my altar.

To be able experiment with the new, you need to know what is already done. My formal education had me studying Human Psychology, Literature and Communication in my graduate and post-graduate degrees. My personal education on the other hand, has me marinating in stories of brilliant, fantastical scapes, green wanderlust, absurdism, surrealism, uncontaminated perspectives of children who are unconcerned by the ways of our world, forlorn lovers, animal instincts, the shapes of the universe as we know it and the unfound wells of pure, subconscious creativity.

I know.. it is a wholesome mishmash of delicate and yet delicious subject matters.
